Plant Studio!

*I should preface this blog entry by saying that I'm not including pictures from the website because I don't want to infringe on their copyrighted material

Plant Studio is another 3D program that is specifically for creating plants. Here is a sample picture that I made today using this program. You can download this program for creating plants by clicking here.

The program comes with a sampling of plants already made but what is fun is that you can create plants from scratch. There are a series of questions the program will ask you about how you want your plant to look and then it will generate a plant for you. You can work with this plant or you can "breed" it and that will give you a lot of different versions of the plant and you can decide on which one you would like to work on.

After you finish constructing your plant you can then export it as a .dxf file and load it into your other 3D programs.

People have been creating a lot of interesting-looking plants with this program. But it's not just limited to plants. Shrubs, grasses and other-like objects have been created using this program too.

So have fun with it!
