Plant Studio!

*I should preface this blog entry by saying that I'm not including pictures from the website because I don't want to infringe on their copyrighted material

Plant Studio is another 3D program that is specifically for creating plants. Here is a sample picture that I made today using this program. You can download this program for creating plants by clicking here.

The program comes with a sampling of plants already made but what is fun is that you can create plants from scratch. There are a series of questions the program will ask you about how you want your plant to look and then it will generate a plant for you. You can work with this plant or you can "breed" it and that will give you a lot of different versions of the plant and you can decide on which one you would like to work on.

After you finish constructing your plant you can then export it as a .dxf file and load it into your other 3D programs.

People have been creating a lot of interesting-looking plants with this program. But it's not just limited to plants. Shrubs, grasses and other-like objects have been created using this program too.

So have fun with it!

Scrabble

Like playing the game Scrabble? I do! Here is a link to a website that is offering a computer version of the Scrabble game that you can download in various languages.

I am honoring the website owner's request to link to his site and not directly link to the Scrabble game download link.

Have Fun!

A Free Objects Conversion Program To Download!

As you can probably tell from this blog I am a great fan of 3d!

I have several 3d programs that I have found online that do a whole as far as creating 3d graphics are concerned. However I did face a problem recently because I wanted to put one 3d model into another 3d program but I couldn't because the 2nd 3d program wouldn't except the .dxf format. I needed to convert my .dxf model to an .obj model.

There is a model conversion program that lets me do just that! It's called Crossroads and you can find out more information about this program by clicking here.

I tried out the program yesterday and it works just great!

Now I have to get to work on creating some stunning 3d artwork!

Sometimes it just doesn't work out...................

You can find free icons all over the internet and that was what I was looking for today! But for some reason I have just been having problems with the Internet tonight! There must be a lot of people on the internet or my connection must just be so slowwwwwwwwwww now!

I'm pretty sure that I'm also just trying to hard. For some reason I just HAD to have some new icons! But for right now it just is not "taking".

I'm sure I'll be able to find an abundance of them later - when I'm not trying so hard!
